I just received confirmation that some of my works will be included in an exhibit at the University of Rhode Island's Providence library in April.
The opening night reception is just a few days before my birthday, so what a lovely present that will be!!😃😃😃😃

Three for the Weekend
I'm posting three new works for the weekend: a humorous piece called "Shark Literacy" featuring two of my favorite things; a piece featuring the dear Jessica H. posing in an off-the shoulder sweater, jeans, and a visor; and an erotic/nude piece. Actually, all of these are among my favorite things! With any luck, there will be something to suit your tastes. Have a great weekend!
New Magazine Interview
There is a new magazine in Rhode Island that conducted interviews with artists at one of the galleries where I exhibit my drawings. It is called Community X zine, and the first issue contains an interview with me and some samples of my art, including one of my drawings of Jess. It is available in downloadable format and a limited run of hard copies. VERY excited!

Perspectives
It's all a matter of seeing things in perspective and not taking one's self too seriously!
I've been sorting through old sketchbooks and papers over the past few days. There was a time when I cringed at an old drawing that I didn't like. I'm pretty happy with my artistic skills now, although there is always room for improvement. Some of my old stuff I quite like, while other pieces used to make me cringe. These days, I look at a "failed" drawing as part of the natural evolution of an artist. Without that practice and experience, I wouldn't be where I am today.
And where IS that exactly?
Well, I KNOW I'll never be in the history books. S
